Oklahoma City's First End-of-Life Care Home
Agape Road was a loving home offering physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those nearing end-of-life.
Dear Friends of Agape Road,
Since opening our doors in February 2020, 89 precious guests have been served by Agape Road’s caretakers. In this time we’ve witnessed miracles - families reconciled, hearts healed, and many more blessings. We have relished each and every moment with our guests and their families. We have received just as much as we have given, and so much more. All that we have gained through this journey makes this next statement a difficult one.
Due to a series of unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision that it is time to close our doors. Our organization started in the midst of a terrible pandemic, and although we have made it through so many growing pains, we cannot see a path forward with the current circumstances in which we find ourselves.
Our entire board of directors mourns this decision, and we know those who have supported us along the way will mourn it, too. We have and will continue to be grateful for the time our volunteers spent, the funds our donors gave, the people and organizations that shared ideas and/or resources with us, the families that entrusted us with their loved ones, and hospice organizations that partnered with us to provide for the 89 guests who spent their final days in our care. You helped us make a difference.
There is an intense need for a place like Agape Road in Oklahoma City, and we are sorry for the loss our closure means for the community.
If you have any questions, please email info@agaperoad.org.
Blessings,
The Board of Directors of Agape Road
